Parade will form up at Lyle Street at 10:30 AM, will march off at 10:45 AM and ceremonies at 10:55 AM. There will be transportation at the Branch for anyone wishing to ride down to the cenotaph. There will be only two runs. The Branch will open at 9:00 AM and will close at 9:45 AM. Please be at the Branch before 9:30 AM if you want a ride. Following the laying of wreaths, members are invited to march with the Branch from Bruce Park to St. James Legion where the parade participants will lay their Poppies. The Legion will reopen at 12:00 PM. After the service in the Legion downstair hall, chili/buns and coffee/tea will be served. Entertainment, from the end of the ceremony to 5:00 PM, will be by the Assinaboia Concert Band, 402 Squadron Pipes and Drums followed by Jesse James Dance Band. The Branch will close at 6:00 PM. |
