Scholarships - 2010
| Each year St. James Legion provides scholarships to the five high schools in the St. James area. These scholarships
are presented to students who have participated in the varsity inter scholastic or performing arts program, have demonstrated leadership
ability combined with good citizenship and maintained a high level of academic achievement. Each of these students received an
award in the amount of $350.00. The winners of these scholarships are as follow:
St. James Legion's special scholarship in the amount of $400.00 each is presented to student of St. James Collegiate and Silver Heights Collegiate. To be eligible for this scholarship the student must be the son, daughter or grandchild of a veteran or a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. The recipient must be a proficient scholar who intends to continue his or her scholastic studies. This year recipients are:
