The Royal Canadian Legion has a national network of service officers who assist veterans, serving military and RCMP members, and ex-serving military and RCMP members with claims for disability pensions involving their service with those agencies or with financial problems following retirement. Volunteers Needed
I have recently been appointed as Service Officer for our Branch. In recent years we had quite a number of Honorary Pallbearers available to honour our fallen veterans. It now appears we have lost many Comrades available for this important duty to our Veterans. I would like to request volunteers for Honorary Pallbearer duty, if you can spare time either in the AM or PM to attend various funerals and have a Legion Uniform.
